Underwater – Lubec 2020 Preview

During LuBeC 2020 (Lucca Beni Culturali), we presented the video installation ‘Subacquea’, an exploration of the seabed and treasures of the Mediterranean Sea displayed in the exhibitions Thalassa and Terracqueo, held in Naples and Palermo respectively. The work was produced in collaboration with Teichos srl and with the support of the National Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN), the Sicily Region’s Department of Cultural Heritage and Identity, the Campi Flegrei Archaeological Park, the Federico II Foundation and Next Geosolutions.

A map of the backdrops was projected onto the vault of the Real Collegio di Lucca, while the recovered works, authentic jewels conserved in numerous museums and in particular in the MANN, were reproduced on a screen cut out of a door.
